Spoken Bride is a Roman Catholic website, faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and dedicated to communicating the goodness, truth, and beauty of sacramental marriage. All content submitted for consideration, including written work, images, and otherwise, is evaluated primarily on the basis of full adherence to teachings and principles of the Church, and secondarily on the basis of a suitable fit for Spoken Bride’s brand and mission, taking all provided information into account and as determined by the founders and team.

Your trust in our team's witnesses and expertise means the world to us. To more fully embody Spoken Bride's mission of authenticity and connection, as of November 2020 we've chosen to not produce or publish any sponsored blog content or to use any affiliate revenue links on our site (Amazon Associates, LikeToKnowIt, rewardStyle, or any similar platform.).
Any and all revenue earned is through Spoken Bride's own products and services (including product design collaborations), via the Spoken Bride Shop, Vendor Guide, Spoken Bride Community, and donations. Advertising is carefully considered and on a for-trade basis, not for profit. And all recommendations you see on our site, including but not limited to books, wedding items, podcasts, ministries, and otherwise, are 100% organic and are not commissioned--only the fruits of our own experiences and preferences. We hope you love what we share with you.

Editorial:
Spoken Bride reserves the right to reject or remove any content at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice, and without liability, including articles and images submitted for Spoken Bride. Spoken Bride strives to achieve a particular ethos across all portions of its website and content, which directs which articles are posted and which submissions are accepted.
The editorial team reserves the right to edit submitted articles in any way deemed appropriate and necessary. The editorial team also reserves the right to edit articles for length, clarity and conformance. Should an article require more than one occasion of edits while in the draft phase, the editor will submit a final approval of edits to the Editor in Chief, in which he or she can deny or approve the article, as well as its edits.
In order to accommodate as many contributors as possible and to maintain a high standard of quality and distinctiveness, written submissions should be original pieces and should not have been previously published in print or online.
To maintain an aesthetic consistent with Spoken Bride's brand and mission, the editorial and creative teams reserve the right to choose and/or design any images, graphics, and/or resources accompanying finished articles.

Spoken Bride uses all copyrighted images and content on this site under the Fair Use Doctrine of U.S. Copyright Law. Copyright belongs to the individual photographers and businesses responsible for creating the content showcased on Spoken Bride; this includes but is not limited to photographic images, video, quotations, and written content. If you are the owner of any image or verbal content that is not sourced properly, please let us know so we can make a correction. We do our best to source all images properly, attributing credit to all parties involved in the creating of the image or the post itself.
If an image is yours and you would like it taken down, please inform us through email: hello@spokenbride.com and we will do our best to have the content removed promptly. Any individuals submitting images or quotes to Spoken Bride must first get permission from the copyright holders. Spoken Bride receives payment for Shop products and for membership in the Spoken Bride Vendor Guide and Spoken Bride Community. The money earned through these platforms allows us to pay for the costs associated with running this ministry. Paid advertising or membership is not a requirement for features, vendor highlights, styled photography shoots, or general content; priority for these events and posts are given to Spoken Bride Vendor Guide members, but all submissions are considered for participation.
We will openly disclose any content produced by, with, or for a paying advertiser or member of Spoken Bride. Payment includes, but is not limited to: monies, bartered goods and services, and/or discounts on present or future goods and services. Spoken Bride does not use affiliate marketing or affiliate links in our posts. Full disclosure of brands and advertisers is given through the use of labels, tags, or written description, displayed with the associated content, as per FTC regulations.
Above all, we value authenticity and honesty, and it is our policy to recommend products or services that we would actually use or already use and love. All opinions about products or services, are completely our own.
Spoken Bride reserves the right to reject, change, or remove any advertisement at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice, and without liability. In the unlikely and unfortunate event that Spoken Bride closes or discontinues existing as a live blog, vendors will be notified. Advertisements and listings in the Vendor Guide will remain online for the remainder of the paid agreements, until all promises have been fulfilled.

Spoken Bride is committed to protecting your privacy and does not share, trade, sell or allow access of your personal or financial information to any third parties. We reserve the right to disclose information about general subscriber usage of our website and any related services, including information gathered during your use of our website. Any information disclosed is in the form of aggregate data accumulated through Google Analytics that does not depict, describe or identify any individual user. If requested, we also reserve the right to not disclose analytic and data information to individuals.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.

We encourage positive interaction with our users and prohibit any comments that fall under our discretion as: offensive, self-promoting, inappropriate, or hostile toward our brand or the integrity of our vendors.
