Michelle and Brandon Horn were both seriously dating others when they first met at their parish. Brandon was the new youth minister looking for volunteers to help out, and Michelle was preparing for a job transfer to the area. The Holy Spirit intervened as ministry brought them closer, and on their one-year dating anniversary, Brandon got down on one knee before the tabernacle.

The Horns’ roots in ministering to others are evident in their client experience. Consultations with engaged couples are held with wine, cheese, and chocolate at their home studio, education and events are available for fellow photographers in the industry, and the Horns communicate frequently with their couples throughout the wedding planning process to answer questions—and notably, they ask questions back, in a way that invites the stories behind stories. After the wedding, newlyweds are invited to the Horns' home once again for a meal and to view their image gallery in full for the first time.
