Lovely Lady Linens
/Thérèse Desilets, a wife, mother, and attorney, was scrolling in bed for a beautiful tablecloth as the realization sunk in: no products she encountered were well suited to her style, budget, or both. An idea took root.
Thérèse thereafter began dreaming and designing patterns for table linens and found a printing team in India to bring her designs to life. Lovely Lady Linens launched in 2020, with a mission to bring meaning and beauty into daily domestic life—much like its namesake, Mary, Our Mother.
Lovely Lady Linens features an array of Marian-themed collections, inspired by titles and images of Our Lady like Stella Maris, Lady of the Valley, and Our Lady of Fatima. The colors and symbols of each pattern are chosen with intention, designed to evoke contemplation as well as pure appreciation for each item’s quality and beauty.
And Thérèse’s products invite clients into a sense of mission. A portion of profits from each sale are donated toward facilities, supplies, and meals at Mariamante Academy, a Catholic secondary school offering a classical education to students in Mudende, Burundi. Thérèse’s family founded the academy stateside for the education of their own children and friends, and the institution relocated to Burundi in 2011.
