Nicole Sandercock Photography
/Nicole Sandercock earned her B.A. in Journalism, with a concentration in Photojournalism. By the time she graduated college, she says, “I was more interested with creatively capturing people as I saw them than telling news stories.”
Nicole spent a mission year with LifeTeen, shooting portraits at their camps and events and soon delving into professional portrait photography for engagements, seniors, and headshots. When the time came to plan her own wedding, she searched for Catholic photographers in her area and, when she found few of them, began discerning the possibility of meeting that need for other brides.
During maternity leave after the birth of her daughter, Nicole prayed about where the Lord was calling her next. At the end of that leave, she quit her corporate job, and hasn’t looked back.
A lover of details, Nicole loves taking on an active role in her clients’ wedding plans, guiding them through the planning process, and helping them feel unforced and like themselves in front of the camera. She intercedes for them throughout and encourages looking ahead not just to the wedding day, but a couple’s lifetime ahead.
From Nicole:
Catholic brides deserve vendors who understand the weight of what they are undertaking, the unique beauty in a Catholic wedding Mass, and who can pray with and for them throughout the wedding process.
I am overjoyed that I get to witness, over and over, the love Christ has for His Church through a bride and groom on their wedding day.
