Beginning with self portraits and adventures with friends and family at fifteen years old, Nikayla’s passion for photography has only grown through the years. In high school, she took classes in portraiture and fine art with her camera, which paved the way for her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in college, knowing that God was calling her to continue using this gift. Nikayla went full time with her photography in 2018.
After getting married in 2017, Nikayla’s understanding and appreciation for the sacredness of the sacrament of marriage deepened and she has found that this greatly informs her perspective as a wedding photographer.

A lot of [my work] is inspired by the love that I see in couples who are engaged or about to get married. In the moment, I see their love and feel the reflected love of the Father. The trinity shines through the wedding day if the couple allows it to.
