Squill Calligraphy Studio
/Elissa Krieg first learned italic-style calligraphy from her dad while still in elementary school. That introduction led to a serious pursuit, and further education, as she grew older, and Squill Calligraphy Studio launched in 2018.
A squill is a delicate blue flower that blooms in springtime, and the nod to nature extends to Elissa’s aesthetic and business practices. Her wedding suites and paper goods—including quotes, greeting cards, and lush watercolor illustrations—feature beautifully saturated colors and botanical themes, printed on renewable 100% cotton or recycled paper. When regular paper best suits Elissa’s projects, Squill makes a donation to plant trees.
